Environmental Sustainability
Water Recycling & Water Monitoring System
- Using state of the art water processing equipment, we are able to recycle over a million gallons of process rinse water annually. That is over a million gallons annually that will remain in the local aquifer, and over a million gallons removed from the town wastewater processing plant.
Environmentally Sustainable Waste Management
- Rochester Electronics is committed to a better tomorrow with a focus on resources and waste management programs . Through our green initiatives we have certified that 98% of all hazardous waste leaving Rochester will be recycled, reused, or reclaimed never to become legacy waste in a landfill
- Standard carboard and pallet waste accumulated in warehousing operations is processed by a local waste-to-energy facility that generates 40 MW of clean, renewable energy for the local utility
