Rochester to Address Obsolescence Management at IIOM


Rochester Electronics’ Vice President, Design Technology, is the keynote speaker at the IIOM International Symposium

Rochester is proud to sponsor The International Institute of Obsolescence Management’s (IIOM) International Symposium in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, October 21-24, 2024. This is the first IIOM event to take place in the United States.

 

IIOM is a not-for-profit organization that exists to advance the science and practice of Obsolescence Management.

 

With a focus on education, networking, and process development, IIOM serves professionals from diverse sectors, including aerospace, defense, railways, nuclear energy, oil and gas, automation, automotive, and industrial, who engage in the development, production, and maintenance of products and services with extended lifecycles.

 

Dan Deisz, Rochester Electronics’ Vice President, Design Technology, will be the keynote speaker on Tuesday, October 22nd, 8:30-9:10 AM, presenting: “Obsolescence Management Starts at Design – The Semiconductor Industry Today.”

About Dan Deisz

 

With over 35 years of semiconductor design experience, Dan Deisz is the Vice President of Design Technology at Rochester Electronics, based in Rockville, Maryland. In this role, his group performs all authorized product replications and customer-specific design solutions. Daniel is also an active member of the Anti-Counterfeiting Task Force (ACTF) for the SIA, having trained more than 200 CBP/HSI agents.
