• Providing an inventory of both active and obsolete lifecycle products
• Purchasing stock during discontinuation cycles to maintain inventory beyond the last-time-ship date
• Providing licensed manufacturing solutions for obsolete products where demand continues after available inventory has been depleted

NXP’s influence in the market through MPUs and MCUs is reflected in our inventory of over 24 million units across 5,000 part-number combinations. This includes many recognizable NXP families, such as i.MX, Kinetis®, LPC, QorIQ®, Layerscape®, as well as legacy architectures: the MC68000, MC6800, 80C51, S08, and S12 families.

Some key highlights are the PowerPC® P-Series, MPC860 PowerQUICC®, and MC68000 processors. Although each has reached end-of-life status, demand continues. For the P-Series MPUs, Rochester has acquired inventory to help meet customer demands that exceed last-time-buy expectations.

For the MPC860 and MC68000 families, we provide a combination of solutions:

1. Finished goods inventory from NXP.
2. Rochester licensed manufacturing inventory based on NXP wafer/die.
3. Rochester-based device replication is available on select devices where the original die has been depleted, but demand still exists.
