When wafer and die are unavailable from the original manufacturer, we can re-fabricate wafers as part of a long-term supply solution. If technical information is available and complete, Rochester employs qualified and certified domestic foundries. When technical information is incomplete, Rochester's Design & Technology Group goes to work to deconstruct and electronically analyze the part so that re-creation will be on an identical foundry process.
Our process is focused on quality and on maintaining the exact specifications of the original part. This assures that there are no discrepancies or errors between the original die and wafer and the newly fabbed product. We continually audit the foundries we work with to quality and military specifications. All Rochester-fabricated die is specified to the original manufacturer's process geometry.
