Rochester Electronics stocks over ten billion die and continues to manufacture over 20,000 different devices that have been discontinued by the original supplier. Only Rochester is contractually authorized and licensed by the original manufacturer to continue manufacturing mature/discontinued products. Through these authorizations and licensing, Rochester is able to purchase original manufacturer's silicon wafers/die, test systems, test programs and intellectual property, which enables us to manufacture devices that exactly meet the fit, form, function and testing. Brokers do not have any manufacturing capability and no other company comes close to the number of devices Rochester offers continuing manufacturing on.

All manufacturing activity is fully approved by the original manufacturer, and Rochester guarantees that our products will meet the original manufacturer's specification and design, unless specifically noted. Products are tested in our test lab, burn-in lab, and failure analysis/SEM lab.

We manufacture many devices that have a continuing high demand and keep them in stock for immediate availability. We manufacture less-in-demand devices on a make-to-order basis. Rochester diligently expedites this process to deliver devices as quickly as possible.

Rochester is ISO9001:2008 certified through TUV, and certified as a QML (Qualified Manufacturer Listing) manufacturer and test lab by the Defense Supply Center of Columbus (DSCC), a U.S. government organization. This certification covers Rochester Electronics' Quality System, manufacturing facilities, and test facilities, with Lab Suitability granted by DSCC for all testing including burn-in, life test, and electrical test.
