Rochester Electronics is approved for the Class V Qualified Manufacturer Listing (QML) certification to MIL-PRF-38535. The Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) granted the Class V certification for Rochester Electronics' space level manufacturing flows after successfully completing audits conducted by representatives of DSCC's Sourcing and Qualifications unit, NASA and The Aerospace Corporation.

The stringent, space-specific, QML-V certification builds on the company's existing Class "Q" certification, which is based on military specifications MIL-STD-883 and MIL-PRF-38535. The certifications were granted based on an extensive audit of Rochester's manufacturing facility and processes and was conducted by an audit team made up of engineers from the aerospace industry and government agencies.

Rochester Electronics has been providing aftermarket solutions for the avionics and defense markets for many years. The QML Class V certification reaffirms Rochester's ongoing commitment to the highest standards of availability, quality and reliability for customers.

Thanks to exclusive licensing agreements, Rochester can also re-fabricate die in DSCC approved wafer foundries. The Class V certification allows Rochester to continue support and manufacturing capability for space level components that would otherwise be unavailable.
