Numonyx selects Rochester

Rochester Electronics has been selected as a licensed provider of discontinued semiconductor devices for Numonyx, a leading developer of memory products. Through its Extension-of-Life™ (EOL) process, Rochester supports discontinued flash memory devices for Numonyx that can be used for a number of applications including consumer, PC and peripheral, wired and wireless communication, and storage. This process enables continued support for customers with requirements beyond standard industry life cycles. In 2008, Numonyx combined the memory technology and expertise of STMicroelectronics and Intel Corporation to create the premier non-volatile memory innovator and manufacturer.
