Manufacturer authorization, quality and reliability: No other company is authorized by as many original manufacturers to support continuing aftermarket requirements of discontinued components. This authorization means that Rochester can offer 100% quality assurance that all products are manufacturer traceable, reliable, and guaranteed. We also offer technical support on our products. Other sources simply cannot verify where their products have come from, how they have been stored, or how they have been handled - and they cannot offer a meaningful guarantee or any technical support.
Continuing source manufacturing: Only Rochester is contractually authorized and licensed by the original manufacturer to continue manufacturing mature/discontinued products. Through authorization and licensing, Rochester purchases original manufacturers' silicon wafers/die, test systems, test programs and intellectual property. This enables us to manufacture devices that exactly meet the fit, form, function, and testing of the original components. Brokers do not have any manufacturing capability, and no other company manufactures even a fraction of the number of devices that Rochester manufactures.
Product re-creation: Rochester is the only aftermarket company that has a division that is dedicated to the re-creation of components to the original manufacturer's design. Rochester Electronics' Design & Technology Group recreates components under the approval and licensing of the original manufacturer. Rochester is then able to manufacturer an endless, continuing supply of silicon wafers and finished devices.
