Summary of Position
The position requires varied quality inspection activities, experience in semiconductor manufacturing operations including assembly, electrical and reliability testing as well as appropriate methods of inspection for final packaging and shipping to customers.

Essential Job Requirements
Visual inspection of semiconductor components and accompanying documentation
Review and inspect material from receiving to test
Maintain and update internal work flow documentation,  specifications as required

Required Education
Electronics engineering technical school graduate or HS graduate with related experience in semiconductor inspection criteria and techniques
Industry related inspection certification is a plus; IPC/EIA or other prior related in house training

Required Experience
1 year related hands on experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with semiconductor devicesAbility to identify semiconductor components
Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9120 or AS9100 is a plus

Required Skills
Attention to detail with excellent visual capabilities
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Access)

Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours)
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on occasion
Must be able to move about the company with ease
Must be capable of passing an eye exam (with or without corrective lenses)

Mental Requirements
Must be well organized
Must be able to understand specifications and create /edit process documentation
Must be able to take verbal and written instructions and translate them into written documentation

Microscope, calipers
Calculator
Office equipment i.e. scanner / copier / fax machine

None

Working Conditions
Work in clean room environment and production areas
Appropriate ESD attire includes a smock, finger cots and use of a wriststrap
